For example, when a crystal, such as Black Tourmaline (my favorite), is used for protection and matched to prevent an abusive ex-lover from causing further harm, the stone's power is amplified.

 

Purchasing or making a small pouch and stringing it so you can wear it around your neck or waist will hold the stone's energies close. Some people suggest that stones worn as pendants should be placed on chains or ropes long enough for the stone to lie across the heart area while standing.
