How Does Tarot Work?

Because everything in life is connected energetically, Tarot can provide you a message from source (spirit, the universe, God, spirit guides, your higher power, ancestors), whatever source means to you, without requiring your presence to receive a proper consultation. How so? Tarot card symbolism, correspondences, and the reader's knowledge and intuition are what provide answers and insights.

Are You Psychic?

While I've received psychic messages through clairempathy (picking up on others' genuine emotions), clairsentience (feeling others' feelings as if they were my own), claircognizance (just knowing), as well as remote viewing (accurate visions), I don't claim to be psychic. Why not? Because I can't control or rely on it, which is why I make no claims to being psychic.

 

My "readings" are based on my knowledge of the meanings of the cards, their relationships to each other in your card layout, my extensive knowledge of integrative therapies, and your question or concern. However, if something psychic pops through (a name, a season, a number, a location), I'll be sure to mention it in your results.

What Makes You Different Than Any Other Tarot Reader?

I wear two hats. I'm a board-certified holistic health practitioner specializing in natural healing and have been providing readings for over 25 years. I combine both hats with my inborn trait of empathy to provide you with a consultation from a unique integrative perspective. You can learn more about me here. 

What Can I Ask About?

You can ask about anything that's keeping you awake at night (relationships, finances, job/career, health-related issues, etc.). However, I DO NOT "read" for lottery ticket numbers, demon or ghost-related problems, messages from the deceased, for those under 18 or the unborn, or sexual fetishes. Please consult another professional for these issues, which doesn't mean you can't ask for insights on how to improve your circumstances or relationships. But I refuse to engage in fortune-telling or discuss entity-related or perverse topics. 

I also DO NOT provide answers and insights for other people through you. For example, it's acceptable to ask, "What can I do to understand Anthony better to improve our relationship?" but not "What's Anthony's problem with our relationship?" I can only read your energy and what affects it. I can't read his. 

Are Holistic Tarot Consultations Private?

Absolutely. Consultations are private. The only exception would be if you were to admit to wanting to or having hurt yourself, another, or animals (threats or attempts of abuse or suicide). In that case, by law, I'm bound to report it, and I will do so. 

Do I Have to Live With HSV to Request a Consultation?

No. You DO NOT have to live with herpes to request a consultation. Many contact The Herpes Witch for answers and insights to stress-related questions and concerns. 

Which Tarot Cards Do You Use and How Many?

I use the universally known Rider-Waite Tarot, illustrated by Pamela Coleman-Smith. The number of cards I pull depends on the consultation you choose. I also draw an additional two cards from affirmation decks, which I select at the time of the "reading". 

What, Exactly, Will I Be Receiving?

Within 48 hours of submitting your question or concern, you'll receive an email containing your Holistic Tarot Consultation Results PDF (as an attachment to your email) to review at your convenience. It will include answers and insights based on the cards in your reading, and, when appropriate, a natural remedy suggestion or two.

What If I Don't Understand My Consultation Results?

If you still have questions, I'm more than happy to help clarify any card in your reading related to your original question or concern. However, if new questions arise as a result of providing clarification, a subsequent consultation (and associated fee) will be required. 

Do You Offer a Refund?

Due to the amount of preparation and energy that goes into providing you with your THW Holistic Tarot Consultation Results PDF, I DO NOT offer a refund. The only exception would be if I were unable to provide your consultation, due to the nature of your question (see "What Can I Ask About?") or in the event of an emergency (injury, illness, blackout, catastrophe, etc.). In that case, you would receive a full refund for the exact amount you paid.
