Consultation FAQ

Is This a Psychic Reading?

While I've received psychic messages through clairempathy (picking up on others' genuine emotions), clairsentience (feeling others' feelings as if they were her own), claircognizance (just knowing), and remote viewing (accurate visions), I don't claim to be psychic. Why not? Because it isn't something I control (or choose to).

 

I base my readings on my understanding of the cards' meanings, their relationships to one another, and my extensive knowledge of card associations and integrative therapies. However, if something psychic pops through (a name, a season, a number, a location), I'll be sure to mention it in your consultation results.

How Does Tarot Work for Distance Readings?

Because everything in life is connected energetically, tarot can provide you a message from "source" (spirit, the universe, God, spirit guides, your higher power, ancestors), whatever source means to you, without requiring your physical presence to receive a proper consultation.

What Makes You Different Than Other Tarot Consultants?

What makes me different, stand out, from other readers is that I wear two hats. While I've been studying and providing readings for over 25 years, I'm also a board-certified holistic health practitioner specializing in natural healing. I combine both hats and my innate trait of empathy to provide you with a consultation from a unique integrative perspective. You can learn more about my qualifications here. 

Do I Have to Have Herpes to Request a Consultation?

No. You don't have to live with the Herpes Simplex Virus to request a consultation. I often hear from those who live with other stress-related conditions, such as Chronic Fatigue, Chronic Pain (including Fibromyalgia), IBS, Anxiety, Depression, and other stress-related symptoms and conditions. 

What Kinds of Questions Can I Ask?

You can ask about anything that's keeping you awake at night (relationships, finances, job/career, creative endeavors, health-related issues, etc.). However, I DO NOT "read" for lottery ticket numbers, demon or ghost-related problems, messages from the deceased, for those under 18 or the unborn, or sexual fetishes. Please consult another professional for these issues.

 

Additionally, I DO NOT provide answers and insights for other people through you. For example, it's acceptable to ask, "What can I do to understand Anthony better to improve our relationship?" but not "What's Anthony's problem with our relationship?" I can only read your energy (and what affects it), not Anthony's. 

Which Tarot Deck Do You Use?

I use the Rider-Waite Tarot, illustrated by Pamela Coleman-Smith. The number of tarot cards pulled depends on the consultation you choose (1 to 9). An additional two cards from two other oracle decks are selected at the time of the reading to affirm further insights, validation, and support.

Are Consultations Private?

Absolutely. Consultations are private. The only exception would be if you were to admit to being on the verge of hurting yourself or having hurt yourself, another, or animals (threats, abuse, or attempts of abuse or suicide). In that case, I am obligated, by law, to report it to the proper authorities and will do so.

What, Exactly, Will I Be Receiving?

Within 48 hours of submitting your question or concern, you will receive your consultation results via email as a PDF (mini-e-book) that includes answers, insights, your next best step, and, when appropriate, a tailored remedy or two to ease stress-related symptoms. You can download it to save and review it at your convenience.

What If I Don't Understand My Consultation Results?

If you still have questions, I'm happy to clarify any card in your reading related to your original question or concern. However, if a new question arises from providing clarification, a subsequent consultation will be required.

Do You Offer a Refund?

Due to the amount of research, time, and energy spent on delivering your consultation results, I DO NOT offer refunds. The only exception would be in an emergency (such as a sickness, tragedy, or catastrophe). In that case, I'll notify you and refund the full amount you paid.
